Contractor earns CanBIM honours for its cloud application.

In mid-September, we covered the 2021 CanBIM award nominees, and now we finally have some winners to discuss.

Among the companies honoured is EllisDon, taking home the Digitalization Strategy Award: Automating BIM Compliance & QA/QC Reporting, awarded to the CanBIM member company that demonstrates leadership and innovation through developing and implementing digital technology for internal corporate use that improves productivity on company projects.

EllisDon took home the honours for an in-house cloud application that was developed by its Virtual Design and Construction team. The app is designed to facilitate the compliance check and various BIM models by employing automated, data-driven solutions.
